The first time I saw a marbled white butterfly was on a hot summers day on an industrial estate in Wimbledon. It was refuelling on oxeye daisies which had seeded in the cracks of some concrete steps. This was just one tiny corner of a vast site. There is huge wildlife potential places like this - if we change our priorities.
